One of the quietest weekends of the year in Melbourne real estate, with most agents taking the day off to allow the general public to focus on the Grand Final clash between Sydney and Hawthorn. It turned out to be an anti-climax, as the big name Swans players wilted under the relentless pressure of the Hawks and most neutral supporters would have lost interest by half time.

After more than 1000 auctions in Melbourne on the previous weekend, there were only 44 scheduled to clash with the Grand Final on 27th September 2014 and a number of those were sold prior to avoid either the stress of the auction or the clash with the footy.

Only 32 results have been reported to date and of those, 27 properties have sold.
